Founder Ron Salmon Retires

Ron Salmon founded RW Salmon Company in 1978 with no clients. After spending time in the oil and gas and real estate business in the ‘80s, a friend introduced him to the career school industry. Ron built a name for the firm among schools by understanding the needs for compliance and hiring people who knew the business inside out. As the firm grew, Ron added people who brought expertise, such as accounting and consulting for nonprofit organizations and ministries. Today, the firm also serves a wide range of individuals and businesses from offices in North Dallas and Arlington.

Ron says, “I’m not really retiring in the true sense of the word, just entering a different season of life.  I still have this goal to help people to do better. I’m going to continue working with people at the nonprofit organization I helped to start and work with some clients and planning like I’ve always done.”

Bill Sims, partner and CEO adds, “Thank you, Ron, for leaving a legacy of caring for clients and creating a culture where people want to come to work. We will miss you and your stories!”

Jeff Bergman takes over the leadership of the tax department.
