UTA Chili Cookoff
We always look forward to the annual University of Texas at Arlington Chili Cook Off that brings together SST staff, future accounting graduates and faculty. Sponsored by Beta Alpha Psi, an honorary accounting and finance society, the event is a fun opportunity to introduce students to our firm. Each participating firm picks a theme and dresses up to fit the part.
This year, Team SST’s theme was ‘The Nightmare before Deadlines,’ complete with ‘Goblin Goop’ chili. We won a third place prize for costume!
Thank you, Team SST: Nariah Redeau, Donald Simon, Brian Hurguy, Tyler Fleming, Karen Eilert, Luqman Danawala, Eileen Keller and Chris Adams.
Ronald McDonald House Volunteer Event
Ronald McDonald House of Dallas provides a temporary home for families of sick or injured children. They are one of our clients, and they welcome volunteers to serve lunch to families. Christina Morris, Nariah Redeau, Eric Nors, Aaron Lohman, Tyler Fleming, Chris Adams, Brad Watson, and Bridget Losa volunteered for this event.
Pumpkin Carving Contest
At the October staff luncheon, we celebrated the beginning of fall with a dessert and pumpkin decorating contest. Who says accountants aren’t creative?!
